Having Our Say — The Theater Project (Performances)

A stage production of Emily Mann's celebrated play based on the New York Times bestseller "Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years." The story follows sisters Sadie and Bessie Delany — at 104 and 102 years old — as they share family memories spanning a century of American history, from slavery through the Civil Rights movement and beyond. Their account vividly documents the ongoing fight for racial equality in the United States. A study guide is available.
