The program is simple. Clark divides the township into four wards, each with its own pickup week. Ward 1 gets picked up during the first full week of the month, Ward 2 during the second week, and so on. You place your items at the curb on the Saturday or Sunday before your ward's scheduled week. Put smaller pieces in open cardboard boxes or plastic bags, and bundle materials securely. Avoid placing anything loose on the street. Do not put items in garbage cans unless they're being picked up with the cans themselves. Items placed too early (before the Saturday or Sunday before your week) violate township rules and may be left at the curb.

What will not be picked up: construction debris, mattresses, box springs, propane tanks, auto parts, tires, concrete, logs, dirt, rocks, televisions, and fences.
