Grab a lawn chair and a blanket—North Plainfield is offering free live music every week through the end of August. The Mayor's Special Events Committee continues its 2026 Summer Concert Series at Vermeule Outdoor Stage, at 614 Greenbrook Road and Clinton Avenue. Each concert runs from 7 to 9 p.m., and the stage is outdoors with grass seating for everyone.
The series began June 25 with High in the Mid 80s and has already featured The Grey Man Group, Lost in Place, and Let's Be Frank, who brought Pop, Rock, Dance and Country on July 23, according to Union County Life's coverage of North Plainfield summer events.
