2026 Blue Acres Fall Volunteer Event

Tremley Point Blue Acres Site (Volunteers must meet at the 7th Ward Community Center). · 2907 Tremley Point Road, Linden, NJ 07036.

The City of Linden hosts a community volunteer event focused on environmental restoration and conservation at the Tremley Point Blue Acres Site. Volunteers of all ages and experience levels are welcome to participate in a full day of stewardship work.

Work activities include tree and shrub planting, cage management to protect newly planted vegetation, weeding, and general site cleanup. All necessary tools including clippers and shovels will be provided. Volunteers should wear boots and bring work gloves. A lunch will be served at no cost to participants.

The event runs from 8 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday, October 16. Volunteers should meet at the 7th Ward Community Center, 2907 Tremley Point Road, Linden. The Blue Acres Fall Volunteer Event is sponsored by Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, Infineum, Phillips 66 – Bayway Refinery, and Sunoco LP.
