On Saturday, October 3, Roselle welcomes dogs and their people to Borough Hall for an afternoon of celebration. The 4th Annual Doggy Day PAWrade & Family Fun Day runs from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at 210 Chestnut Street. It is free for everyone—residents and visitors alike. Mayor Donald Shaw, the Roselle Borough Council, and the Department of Recreation have organized the event with GWIZ Auto Entertainment and community members working together to create something special for dogs and their families.
The day centers on fun and connection. Myster-E will serve as Master of Ceremonies, keeping things lively throughout the afternoon. A Doggy PAWrade gives pups a chance to strut their stuff, and a Doggy Obstacle Course lets them show off their skills. Five contests run throughout the day: Best Costume, Cutest Pooch, Dog and Owner Look-a-Like, Waggiest Tail, and Most Kisses. Prize ribbons go to the winners. A mini car show showcases cool cars and cool dogs, and vendors including Slingshot Effect and Tri-Stat3 VIP will be on hand. Food vendors and a DJ round out the afternoon.
