Roselle celebrates its love for dogs with the 4th Annual Doggy Day PAWrade & Family Fun Day—a community festival bringing dogs, owners, and neighbors together for an afternoon of celebration, contests, and joy. Whether your dog is a pampered pooch or a playful pup, this event creates a welcoming space for dogs and the people who love them.
The event takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Borough Hall, 210 Chestnut Street, Roselle. Admission is completely free for residents and non-residents. All friendly, obedient dogs and dog lovers are invited.
The afternoon is packed with activities. The Doggy PAWrade kicks off the festivities, with dogs marching together in celebration. A Doggy Obstacle Course challenges canine athletes to navigate fun challenges. A DJ provides entertainment throughout the event, and vendors will offer products and services for dogs and families. Food vendors provide snacks and meals for attendees.
Dog owners can enter their pets in several contests celebrating different dog personalities and characteristics: Best Costume, Cutest Pooch, Dog & Owner Look-a-Like, Waggiest Tail, and Most Kisses. Prize ribbons will be awarded to winners, recognizing each dog's unique charm and talent. Cool car owners can display their vehicles in the Mini Car Show, adding another element of community pride to the celebration.
The event is hosted by GWIZ Auto Entertainment with Myster-E as Master of Ceremonies. Slingshot Effect and Tri-Stat3 VIP will showcase slingshots. The Borough of Roselle, Mayor Donald Shaw, the Roselle Borough Council, and the Department of Recreation support the event.
If rain falls on October 3, the event moves to Sunday, October 4. Volunteer opportunities are available with multiple shifts offered; volunteers can earn volunteer hours for their service.
