AddamsFest Family Fun Day in Westfield, NJ
Westfield · NJ 07090
A little Wednesday in a black dress paints a pumpkin while a small Pugsley chases bubbles down the street. On Sunday, October 18, AddamsFest Family Fun Day brings costumes, crafts, and music to downtown Westfield.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Quimby Street, which will be closed to cars for the day. Union County Life shares the details so Westfield families and neighbors across the county can plan their Sunday morning.
Kids can meet Addams Family characters and dance to music from the DJ Spinners. Local businesses run stations along the street: bubbles with OMG Bubbles, costume decorating with Tutu School, spooky art and sensory play with Art Cafe, rubber duck fishing with SwimQuest, play dough jars with Small Town Play Cafe, and a photo booth with Westfield Braces. Wonder will hand out candy, balloons, and gift cards. New Yorker cartoonist Dan Misdea will draw custom cartoon portraits from 10 a.m. to noon for $10 each.
Atlantic Health hosts pumpkin painting and crafts from 10 a.m. to noon at 142 Central Avenue. Sponsors include Atlantic Health, Westfield Pediatric Dental Group, Wonder, Oceans Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, and Westfield Braces. For questions, email info@addamsfest.com.
