CampFest Sleepaway Camp Fair in Westfield, NJ

Picking a sleepaway camp is a big decision, and it helps to meet the people who run it face to face. On Sunday, October 18, families can do just that at CampFest in Westfield.

The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ hosts CampFest from noon to 2 p.m. Families can meet representatives from more than 20 Jewish sleepaway camps and start planning for summer 2027, 2028, or later. Union County Life shares the details so Westfield families can sign up.

Kids can enjoy camp games and activities, a station to customize camp swag, and a camp canteen. Lunch and ice cream are included for everyone.

Admission is free, but registration is required at jfedgmw.org/campfest26. Families who sign up in advance are entered for a chance to win a $500 Airbnb gift card.

For many kids, the first summer at camp becomes a memory that lasts a lifetime, and it starts with one afternoon of exploring. Find more Westfield events, arts coverage, and community news on Union County Life.
