Council Listening Session in Summit, NJ

100 Morris AvenueSummit, NJ 07901

Summit residents can speak directly with Mayor Elizabeth Fagan and members of the Common Council on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The listening session takes place at the Summit Community Center, 100 Morris Avenue. It is the second of four sessions the council is hosting this fall. Union County Life shares sessions like this so Summit residents know when they can be heard.

The sessions are informal. Residents can share concerns, ask questions, and offer suggestions without the time limits of a formal council meeting. Because these are not official public meetings, the number of elected officials present will be limited to follow the Open Public Meetings Act.

The remaining sessions are Tuesday, November 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, December 9, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., both at the Community Center. Stay informed about Summit news and announcements on Union County Life.
