CWC Trivia Night Fundraiser in Garwood, NJ
The Westwood · 438 North Avenue, Garwood, NJ 07027.
A table of friends, a stack of answer sheets, and one question nobody at the table can agree on. On Thursday, November 12, the College Woman’s Club of Westfield hosts its annual Trivia Night fundraiser.
The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. at The Westwood in Garwood, with Joe Trivia leading the game. Guests can form a team and bring friends. Union County Life shares the details so Westfield and Garwood neighbors can grab tickets before they’re gone.
Tickets are $75 per person and include a three course dinner buffet. The event is open to members, non-members, and the wider community. Tickets are sold at cwcwestfield.org, and the club expects a sellout.
Proceeds support the club’s scholarship fund for young women in Westfield. Trivia Night coordinator and club treasurer Deirdre Gelinne said the evening combines friendly competition with raising money to help young women reach their goals. Founded in 1917, the College Woman’s Club is a nonprofit that supports young women through scholarships and other giving.
For more than a century, the club has helped young women go to college, and a night of trivia keeps that tradition going. Find more Westfield and Garwood events, arts coverage, and community news on Union County Life.
