Volunteer Emergency Squad Blood Drive in Clark, NJ — October 2026
Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad House · 875 Raritan Road
According to TAPinto Clark's announcement on October 20, 2026.
On Thursday afternoon, neighbors can stop by the squad house on Raritan Road, roll up a sleeve, and give blood for patients who need it.
The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad will hold a blood drive on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at its squad house, 875 Raritan Road in Clark. The building has private, lighted parking off the street.
The squad is hosting the drive at its own home base, and Union County Life is sharing the details so Clark residents can plan ahead. The squad also welcomes anyone who wants to learn more or join.
Donors can bring a family member, friend, or coworker and give together. The Food and Drug Administration has lifted several donor eligibility rules, and current guidelines are posted at nybc.org/eligibility.
Come feeling well, with no cold or flu symptoms for at least 72 hours. Finish any short term medicine first, though acne medicine is fine. You must meet minimum weight rules and bring a photo ID. Eat well and drink plenty of fluids beforehand.
Donors must be 17 to 75 years old. Those who are 17 need parental consent, and those over 75 need a one time written consent from a physician. Blood donors can give every 56 days, and platelet donors can give twice a month.
New York Blood Center is running the drive, and appointments can be booked on its drive page. NYBC says it encourages appointments but welcomes walk ins when there is room. The announcement does not list a cost. Email the squad at CVES@ourclark.com with questions.
If you cannot give blood, you can still help by donating money or time to support New York Blood Center's mission. Either way, Thursday is a chance to show up for neighbors you may never meet. Find more Clark events, arts coverage, and community news on Union County Life.
