On Saturday, October 3, Linden is bringing three beloved community celebrations into one day. Mayor Derek Armstead and the Department of Parks and Recreation have combined the city's Unity Day, Polish Festival, and Latin Festival into the Fall Festival – The Many Flavors of Linden. It is a free, all-day event that honors the cultures that make Linden home.
The festival runs from 1 to 9 p.m. along North Wood Avenue, starting at Linden City Hall (301 North Wood Avenue) and extending to the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade. You will find food trucks serving authentic dishes from around the world, live music and cultural performances from all three communities, and a car and bike show featuring custom builds and classic rides. There will be live wrestling matches, a Taylor Swift tribute show called "Fearless, the Taylor Swift Experience," and activities and games for the whole family. Attendees get a Swifty gift bag while supplies last.
