Foundation Park
Every Saturday morning, Foundation Park in Westfield becomes a workout. Residents show up with mats, water bottles, and no particular agenda — just an hour outside with a local instructor and whatever the week's class happens to be.
The Downtown Westfield Corporation launched the Spring Into Fitness series to give the community direct access to local fitness studios in an outdoor, no-cost setting. Union County Life is following the series as part of its coverage of free programming across Union County's 21 municipalities.
The format rotates each week. Studios leading sessions have included Club Pilates, Satsang Yoga Studio, Rumble Boxing, and Harmony Meditation — which means participants can try something different every week or keep coming back until they find a favorite.
No experience is required. The series is designed for all ages and skill levels, whether someone is stepping onto a mat for the first time or just looking for a low-key Saturday routine that gets them outside.
Classes run from 10 to 11 AM every Saturday at Foundation Park in Westfield, NJ. The series continues through late June 2026. Admission is free, but registration is required in advance for each session. Sign up through the Downtown Westfield Corporation before attending.
