The Gateway Family YMCA is holding a special 50/50 raffle, and the money it raises will go to YMCA Financial Assistance.
The Hope in Action Raffle drawing takes place Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET at Galloping Hill Caterers, 1085 Galloping Hill Road, in Union. The drawing is part of the YMCA's annual Y We Care: Tricky Tray Auction Fundraiser.
YMCA Financial Assistance helps remove financial barriers to YMCA membership, programs and services. YMCA staff and members are welcome to take part, along with neighbors from the local community.
Raffle tickets cost $100 each, and only 250 will be sold. They are sold at The Gateway Family YMCA branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union. Participants must be 18 or older. If all tickets are sold, the first prize is up to $10,000, the second prize is up to $1,500 and the third prize is up to $1,000.
Anyone who wants to attend the Y We Care event needs a separate entry ticket. Doors open at 5 p.m. ET, and guests must be 18 or older with ID. For questions, contact the YMCA's Union Branch at (908) 688-9622.
The winner does not need to be present at the drawing.
