Leaf Collection Section 2 in Berkeley Heights, NJ — November 2026
Curbside pickup, Section 2 streets
According to the Berkeley Heights Township calendar and Leaf Collection page.
Curbside leaf collection for Section 2 in Berkeley Heights runs the week of Monday, November 2, to Friday, November 6, 2026. The Township calendar lists the pickup as all day and does not give a time of day. Residents can find their section on the Township's Sections by Street Name page.
The Berkeley Heights Department of Public Works handles the pickup. Leaves must be in paper biodegradable bags, stacked neatly at the curb before the pickup week, with nothing other than leaves inside. Bags may not block catch basins or sidewalks or sit on driveways. The Township says bags with anything other than leaves, or bags left on driveways, will be rejected and left for the resident. DPW does not pick up branches, brush or yard waste in the fall.
The second Section 2 pickup is December 7 to 11. From November 1 to December 31, residents may also drop off bagged leaves at the DPW, 101 Berkeley Avenue next to Town Hall, on the first and third Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. County roads follow separate dates on the 2026 flyer.
The Township asks residents to stick to the posted schedule, since there is limited time to return to a section on other dates. Questions go to Berkeley Heights DPW at 908-464-2700 ext. 2167.
