Leaf Collection Section 3 in Berkeley Heights, NJ — November 2026
Curbside pickup, Section 3 streets
According to the Berkeley Heights Township calendar and Leaf Collection page.
Section 3 of Berkeley Heights has its first curbside leaf pickup the week of Monday, November 9, to Friday, November 13, 2026. The second Section 3 pickup is December 14 to 18. No time of day is given.
The Berkeley Heights Department of Public Works (DPW) runs the collection. Leaves go in paper biodegradable bags, stacked neatly at the curb before the pickup week. Bags may hold leaves only and may not sit on driveways or block catch basins or sidewalks. Bags that break these rules will be rejected and left for the resident. The Township has no vacuum truck, and DPW does not pick up branches, brush or yard waste in the fall.
From November 1 to December 31, residents may also bring leaves in paper bags to the DPW at 101 Berkeley Avenue, next to Town Hall, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Grass and contractor or commercial vehicles are not accepted. County roads have separate pickup dates on the 2026 flyer.
Residents can find their section on the Township Sections by Street Name page. The Township says there will be limited time to return to a section on unscheduled dates. Questions go to Berkeley Heights DPW at 908-464-2700 ext. 2167.
