Trunk or Treat at Police HQ in Elizabeth, NJ
Police Headquarters, 1 Police Plaza · Elizabeth, NJ 07201
Car trunks decked out in spooky decorations, kids in costumes holding out their bags, and police officers handing out treats. On Friday, October 30, the Elizabeth Police Department opens its headquarters for a Trunk or Treat.
The event runs from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Elizabeth police headquarters, 1 Police Plaza. At a Trunk or Treat, kids go from car to car collecting candy instead of walking door to door, which makes it an easy option for young children. Union County Life readers looking for a Halloween outing for little ones can find it here.
It's also a chance for families to meet the officers who serve their neighborhoods in a relaxed setting.
The city calendar does not list cost, age limits, or how to sign up to decorate a trunk. Check elizabethnj.org or contact the Elizabeth Police Department for details.
A bag full of candy and a friendly wave from an officer can make a child's Halloween. Find more Elizabeth events, arts coverage, and community news on Union County Life.
