Baseball: Dayton Wins, 3-2, over New Providence

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Dayton baseball team collected only three hits, but that was enough to support the pitching of Jackson Babiarz on Thursday.Babiarz pitched six innings, scattered five hits, struck out four and walked four. Both of the runs against him were unearned.Aidan Ferguson pitched the seventh inning to get the save.Chris Ramirez doubled in the bottom of the fourth inning and came in to score on a sacrifice fly by Nico Davila for a 2-1 lead. Patrick Ferguson's RBI triple in the fifth made the score 3-1.
