
Dominant Offensive Performance Leads to Opening Day Victory for Hillside Baseball

HILLSIDE, NJ - The Hillside Baseball Team put on an offensive clinic in their season opener, defeating Orange 12-4 on Monday. Zachary Hasan led the way for the Comets, going 3-4 at the plate with three runs and two RBIs, and three stolen bases. Xavier Da Silva and Justin Ashford had two RBIs each. Christian West scored three runs, drew three walks, and stole six bases. Cris Ogando was credited with the victory for Hillside, allowing four earned runs and walking four while striking out 10 batters. Next up for Hillside is a Wednesday matchup vs. Newark Central. Game time is at 4 p.m.
