Elizabeth Baseball Defeats Johnson a Second Time to Extend Win Streak

ELIZABETH, NJ - The Elizabeth baseball team extended its win streak to two games on Thursday, defeating Johnson a second time in the past week. The Minutemen were led by Albert Maldonado, who put on a two-way clinic, hitting a home run and scoring two runs on offense. On the mound, Maldonado pitched 6.1 innings, allowing three runs (two earned), while striking out eight. Giovanni Garcia and Derek Guzman each had an RBI for Elizabeth. Next up for the Minutemen is a Friday contest against Ferris. Game time is at 5 p.m.
