
Elizabeth Public Schools to Host Virtual “Basic AI” Workshop for Parents

ELIZABETH, NJ — Elizabeth Public Schools invites parents and guardians to expand their understanding of technology at an upcoming virtual workshop on the basics of artificial intelligence.Part of the district’s Parent Development Workshop Series for the 2025–2026 school year, the session titled “Learning About Artificial Intelligence: Basic AI” will take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. via Zoom.The workshop is designed to help families better understand how artificial intelligence is shaping everyday life and its impact on students. Organizers say the session will provide parents with practical tools and knowledge to guide their children’s use of AI in a safe and informed way.Topics to be covered include:A foundational overview of artificial intelligence and its role in daily lifeSafe and responsible use of AI technologyEthical considerations and safety practices for using AI within the family environmentFor more information, residents can contact Samuel Etienne at etiensa@epsnj.org.
