
New Providence to Host Free "Move, Breathe, Bloom" Morning for Moms This Mother's Day Weekend

NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J. — The NJ Cross-Town Mental Health Coalition, in partnership with the Borough of New Providence, invites mothers in the community to a free morning of wellness and connection as part of its Paint the Town Green campaign. "Move, Breathe, Bloom: A Morning for Moms" will be held Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Centennial Park, 360 Elkwood Ave, New Providence.The event, timed to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month, will open with a mindful walk through New Providence before transitioning to a gentle Qigong movement session led by Rose Wippich, a teacher, energy healer, and breast cancer warrior known for inspiring healing and transformation in her community.Each attending mother will receive a pink carnation, and the morning will close with community time featuring coffee from Cafe Luna and bagels from Jersey Joe's Bagel & Grill."This event is about giving moms a space to move, breathe, and reconnect — with themselves and with each other," organizers said. "Mental wellness starts with community, and that is exactly what we are building."The event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.
