UCL Civic Desk · Union County Life
ROSELLE, NJ – The Borough Council is scheduled to introduce and vote to approve the 2026 calendar year budget for 2026 at the body’s meeting on Wednesday, April 29. After the borough council meeting was postponed last week due to an unannounced reason, the budget discussion is expected to take up the bulk of the convened session this week. Elsewhere on the non-consent agenda, the council is expected to unanimously approve the authorization of contracts for landscaping and vehicle maintenance services totaling $77,650. The council is also issuing proclamations honoring the Roselle Catholic boys basketball team after the program won a Non-Public State Title, Arbor Day 2026 and Roselle Girl Scout Troop 40504. The meeting is scheduled to start at 6:30 P.M.
