LINDEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, NJ โ In celebration of 2026 Earth Day, 11 Linden High School students didnโt just stay behind their desks โ they took their learning to the streets under the โOur Power, Our Planetโ theme, guided by their advisor, Ralph J. Caputo. Starting along busy city blocks before their first stop at James Dobson Park, the group collected litter and restored green spaces that many of them pass every day on their way to and from school. From Dobson, they continued on to 4th Ward Park to tidy its paths, fields, and fence lines before making their way back to the high school, closing the loop on a walking route that turned ordinary Linden sidewalks and neighborhood parks into a living lesson in community pride and environmental care.
