LINDEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, NJ โ€” A powerful student-led initiative rooted in service and compassion made a tangible impact on April 1, as Linden High School students officially donated more than 300 pairs of socks to Community Access Unlimited, a Union County-based nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities and at-risk youth across New Jersey. The donation marked the culmination of the schoolโ€™s โ€œHelp Others Winโ€ Sock Drive, spearheaded by the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Club in collaboration with several student organizations, including the Black American Culture Club (B.L.A.C.C.), I Am Beautiful (IAB), Bible Club, Brothers Break Bread, and the National Honor Society. The drive focused on collecting new socks, one of the most requested items in shelters, to support local residents facing hardship.Samantha Cella, director of corporate and community engagement for Community Access Unlimited, visited the high school to accept the donation and commend students for their leadership and commitment to service. Surrounded by student participants and advisors, the handoff served as both a celebration of generosity and a reminder of the ongoing needs within communities across the state.[Donโ€™t miss any TAPinto Linden news.
