BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. — The Berkeley Heights Business & Civic Association and the New Providence Business Association joined forces recently for an after-hours education and networking event at Delicious Heights, bringing together local business owners and professionals for an evening of learning and connection. The event featured two distinct programs designed to give attendees practical tools they could put to work immediately.Paulina Nieroda of Nova Doma Permanent Makeup opened the evening with a detailed presentation on growing an Instagram following through targeted, proven strategies. Nieroda knows the terrain well — she has had multiple posts reach 1 million views and walked attendees through the mechanics behind that success, covering optimal video length, post times, hashtagging techniques and the art of tagging to maximize reach and visibility. The second half of the evening brought back a crowd favorite: speed networking, led by Lisa Barfield of ClearPoint Marketing. Participants did not just hear about effective networking — they practiced it, learning and refining the art of making meaningful connections in a short amount of time. What's NextThe BHB&C will host a breakfast networking event at Berkeley Heights VFW Post 6259 at 8 a.m. this Friday. The association's annual Berkeley Heights Block Party is set for June 7 from noon to 4 p.m. along Springfield Avenue. To learn more about the BHB&C, get on the email distribution list or stay up to date on upcoming events, visit berkeleyheightsbusinesscivic.com, email bhbusinessandcivic@gmail.com or follow @BHBCNJ on Instagram.
