
Downtown Plainfield to Host ‘Arts in Bloom’ Spring Festival on Sunday, May 17

PLAINFIELD, NJ — On Sunday, May 17, Plainfield will be host to the third annual Arts in Bloom Spring Festival. It will take place from 12pm to 5pm on North Avenue between Park and Watchung Avenues.“Join us on May 17, 2026, from 12 pm to 5 pm for a day where art and nature come together in a vibrant showcase of local talent,” wrote the Downtown Plainfield Special Improvement District in the announcement. “This festival is your invitation to explore dynamic art installations, interactive workshops, live performances, and family-friendly activities—all set against a backdrop of blooming gardens and inspiring outdoor spaces.”Becoming a vendor costs $75, and those interested can apply here up until May 15.“Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a delightful way to spend your spring day, the Arts in Bloom Spring Festival promises an unforgettable experience that celebrates both creativity and the beauty of our community,” said Downtown Plainfield. “We can’t wait to see you there!”Learn more about Downtown Plainfield and sign up for its newsletter here.
