
Driver Charged With DWI Following Rollover Crash in Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ — A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated following a rollover crash Saturday night on Walnut Avenue, according to a statement from the Cranford Police Department.Police said officers responded at approximately 10:34 p.m. on May 2 to a report of a motor vehicle rollover on Walnut Avenue between Blake and Lincoln avenues.Following an on-scene investigation, authorities determined the driver of the overturned vehicle was allegedly intoxicated. The individual was taken into custody and transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation, police said.No additional details about the driver or potential injuries were immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
