
Elizabeth Public Schools to Host 4th Annual Multicultural Festival on June 9

ELIZABETH, NJ - The Elizabeth Public Schools district will celebrate the city’s cultural diversity during its 4th Annual EPS Multicultural Festival on Tuesday, June 9, at the Thomas G. Dunn Sports Center.The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the sports center, located at 600 Pearl Street in Elizabeth, and will feature multicultural displays coordinated by Elizabeth Public Schools along with a community resource fair presented by local agencies.Organizers say the festival is designed to bring together students, families, educators, and community members for an afternoon celebrating the many cultures and traditions represented throughout the district and city.The event will include vibrant displays and presentations highlighting diverse backgrounds and heritage from around the world. Information and resources from local organizations will also be available for attendees.The festival is being organized through the Elizabeth Public Schools Bilingual/ESL Department.
