
Girls’ Night Out in Downtown Westfield to Feature Fashion Show, Shopping, DJ, More

WESTFIELD, NJ — Girls’ Night Out in Downtown Westfield, an annual event sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation, is set for Thursday, May 14, featuring shopping, dining specials, entertainment, giveaways and a spring fashion show.Quimby Street, which will be closed to traffic for the evening, will serve as home base featuring a live DJ, giveaways and the main runway event. The Spring Fashion Show, produced by Leslie Patrizio, will begin at 6 p.m. and highlight a mix of national brands and local boutiques, including Cachet, J. McLaughlin, Jude Connally, Banana Republic, Gap, Athleta, Luxe Threads, Westfield Service League, The Life, Sole, Best Foot Forward, Faherty, Patricia & Paul, Salon Visage and Fleet Feet.The fashion show will also feature more than 25 local residents as models, including participation from the DWC’s very own program manager, Julia Amiano.Throughout the evening, more than 40 downtown businesses plan to participate. Among them, Patricia & Paul will offer tiered savings and a gift basket raffle, N&C Jewelers will offer 50% off all in-stock merchandise, Gap will offer 40% off of everything, Athleta will offer $25 off your purchase plus an additional 30% off of sale items, Blende will offer 20% off store wide and offer mocktails and sweets, Sole Shoes will offer 20% off regular price styles (exclusions apply) and an extra 10% off sale items, and Brick Oven will offer free dessert with the purchase of an entrée.“Pulling this event together is truly a collaborative effort,” Amiano said. “From our local businesses to our partners, everyone plays a role in bringing this event to life. Centering the night around Quimby Street while activating 40-plus businesses helps create a seamless, high-energy experience throughout downtown.”The first 20 shoppers who spend $50 or more will receive a $10 Downtown Westfield Gift Card.
