Kenilworth Historical Society Receives Funds From Union County HEART Grant

KENILWORTH, NJ – The Kenilworth Historical Society is among the recipients of funding through the 2026 Union County HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant Program. The nonprofit organization will receive $1,200.00The Union County Board of County Commissioners announced on Wednesday that more than 80 artists, historians and local non-profit organizations across the county will share $100,000 in grant funding aimed at supporting arts, history and education across Union County. Established in 1998, the HEART Grant Program was created by the Union County Board of County Commissioners to support local cultural programming and educational initiatives to support Union County’s economy and quality of life. “We are proud to support the individuals and organizations who create meaningful opportunities for our residents to connect through arts, history and education,” Union County Commissioner Chairman Joseph C. Bodek said. “The HEART Grant Program helps make these experiences accessible and keeps our communities connected. At its core, this program supports the people who make Union County a vibrant place to live.” The Kenilworth Historical Society is an independent, volunteer-based, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501c3 organization dedicated to the research, preservation and interpretation of the of the historic Oswald J.
