
Kenilworth VFW Invites Community to Honor Deceased Veterans at 2026 Flag Planting Event

KENILWORTH, NJ - On Saturday, May 23, members of the Kenilworth VFW and Scout Troops will be placing flags on veterans graves at Graceland Memorial Park located at 1900 Galloping Hill Road. The public is invited to join starting with breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Kenilworth Veterans Center and flag deployment will be at 9 a.m to Graceland.Graceland Cemetery on Galloping Hill Road is the resting place for veterans of the Spanish American War to the present day. By remembering deceased veterans, this ensures their stories live on in the hearts of many for generations to come.Light refreshments will be served at the VFW after for all workers at 12 p.m. No preregistration is required as there will be a sign-up sheet at breakfast and at the cemetery.
