Linden, NJ - During National Random Acts of Kindness Month, something quiet and powerful began at McManus Middle School.7th grader Sayuri N. started leaving anonymous letters for her teachers. Simple, heartfelt words that made people feel seen, valued, and uplifted. She saw the impact… and kept going. From her school to the Superintendent Student Leadership Team, and beyond, her message spread. In just four days, she wrote over 100 letters each one a reminder that what you do matters.In this special short film, Superintendent Dr. Atiya Y. Perkins sits down with Sayuri and her family to reflect on the story behind the letters and the impact they continue to have.No spotlight. No recognition. Just kindness.
