
Rahway Softball Team Celebrates Seniors

RAHWAY, NJ — The Rahway High School (RHS) softball team (12-5) recognized its three seniors on Tuesday, May 5. The celebration took place prior to the team's game against Roselle (2-6) at Madden Sports Complex.Those seniors recognized were:#1 Gloria Garay#10 Larissa Laurie#11 Danielle MaherThe team went on to defeat Roselle, 11-5.Gloria Garay led the team in hits and RBIs. She also had a home run. Junior Amanda Lebers was the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts. The team next plays on Friday, May 8, at 4 p.m., taking on Governor Livingston, away, in the second round of the Union County Tournament.
