
Roselle BOE OKs Maker Space, Security Vestibule Upgrades

ROSELLE, NJ — Roselle’s Board of Education held a special meeting on May 4th to consider a specific update to the District's Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP).The Board approved a resolution to authorize Netta Architects, LLC to submit schematic design and LRFP amendments to the NJ Department of Education and for the district to advance various projects including: Maker spaces and security vestibules at Dr. Charles C. Polk Elementary School, Washington Elementary School, Harrison Elementary School, and Grace Wilday Junior High School;Security vestibule and auditorium upgrades at Abraham Clark High School; andTransition Center at the Central Office.A motion was held to include Leonard V. Moore Middle School, as it was not mentioned in the notice. The measure was approved with eight yes votes and one absence.
