
Student Prom Safety Presentation Includes Collaboration Between Rahway High School and Local Groups

RAHWAY, NJ — On Wednesday, May 6, Rahway High School (RHS) prom attendees participated in an engaging and informative safety presentation in partnership with the Rahway Police Department, the Elizabeth Police Department, and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Through hands-on experiences using virtual reality (VR) technology and a motorized simulation vehicle, students explored the real-life effects of impaired driving. They also participated in interactive activities such as “walking the line” while experiencing simulated impairment.This powerful and immersive presentation highlighted the serious risks and consequences of driving under the influence.
