SUMMIT, NJ — Summit continued its dominant run, extending its winning streak with a commanding 12-0 victory over Union Catholic on Friday.That's 18 wins in a row for anyone counting. The Hilltoppers (18-2, 11-0 UCC Mountain) wasted no time setting the tone, plating two runs in the first inning before erupting for 10 more over the next two frames to put the game out of reach early.Kate Shin led the offensive surge, going 1-for-2 with a home run, three RBI, and three runs scored. Chloe Jacobson added two hits, while Hannah Jacobson contributed at the plate and in the circle.Jacobson was dominant on the mound, tossing a complete-game shutout while striking out eight and allowing just three hits with no walks.Summit’s balanced lineup and consistent production have fueled its ongoing winning streak, as the Hilltoppers continue to separate themselves atop the conference standings.Union Catholic managed three hits but was unable to generate any scoring opportunities against Summit’s strong pitching and defense.
