LINDEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, NJ — Last week, we took time across Linden Public Schools to pause and recognize the incredible individuals who keep our school days moving—our school bus drivers and transportation aides. Today, we’re proud to share a few highlights and say it once more…THANK YOU. On April 28, the district celebrated School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, honoring more than 30 dedicated drivers and aides who safely transport approximately 1,400 students -- from Pre-K through grade 12 -- across 54 routes each day. From our elementary schools to our two middle schools and three high school buildings, their impact is felt across the entire district.Rain or shine…early mornings to late afternoons…classrooms to competitions—our drivers are there, ensuring every student arrives safely, smoothly, and on time. This important work is powered in partnership with Villani Bus Company, George Dapper Bus Company, and J&J Transportation, helping keep Linden moving forward every single day.To our transportation team: your dedication does not go unnoticed. You are truly the heartbeat behind every safe ride. Swipe through for a few moments from last week’s appreciation across our schools!#ThankYouBusDrivers #LPS_ShowUpAndROAR #EveryRouteMatters #LindenLeads #SafetyFirst #TeamLPS
