KENILWORTH, NJ - The Brearley Varsity Baseball team is on a four-winning streak, having advanced on Monday, May 4, with a 7-1 victory over Elizabeth.This brings the Bears current record 8-8. Highlights of the game from Head Coach Dave Kaplow include:Mike Wewna went four-four.Alex Skwarek had two hits and drove in two runs.Dylan Brito drove in three runs.Mike Wewna and Carmine Orlando teamed up on the mound, giving up just one run and striking out a combined seven batters.“We were solid defensively and had good at bats when we needed them the most" Coach Kaplow said. "We were able to take advantage of some mistakes from the other team and get the win. We’ll have two good days of practice before we head to Elizabeth on Thursday to try and keep it rolling in game two of the series”The team will travel to Elizabeth to face the Minutemen again on Thursday, May 7, at 4:15 p.m.Go Bears!
