KENILWORTH, NJ - The Brearley Varsity Baseball team is on a five-winning streak, having advanced on Thursday, May 7, with a 2-1 victory over Elizabeth.This brings the Bears current record 9-8. Highlights of the game from Head Coach Dave Kaplow include:Carmine Orlando pitched five innings of shut out baseball striking out four.Alex Skwarek drove in the winning run with a sac fly.“Again, excellent defense and not walking hitters proved to be the difference in this game" Coach Kaplow said. "It was great to sweep Elizabeth as we get ready for the county tournament against Oratory.”The Bears head to Oratory to face the Rams in the first round of the Union County Tournament today, Saturday, May 9, at 3 p.m.Go Bears!
