CLARK, NJ — There will be recycling pickup in the Township of Clark's Zone 1 this week.Pickup will take place on Wednesday, May 6.The Township of Clark informs Zone 1 residents, "Clark Township provides recycling bins to each household. Glass, aluminum, tin, plastic containers, juice, paper, cardboard, to-go-cups, and milk cartons can be commingled in one receptacle. All items must be well-rinsed. All caps and lids must be removed. No used pizza boxes, Styrofoam, or plastic bags permitted."Residents with an abundance of cardboard should break boxes down and either stack them all in one box or tie in a bundle to place alongside the recycle bin at the curb. Do not leave piles of full size boxes stacked at the curb. “In the event, of bad weather or equipment failure, recycling changes will be posted on the Clark Township social media pages and be sent out in electronic News Flashes. Residential recycling collections alternate by zone each week.”For more on recycling, click here.
