Berkeley Heights Free Summer Concerts Return in 2025
Every Wednesday evening this summer, two Berkeley Heights parks fill up the same way. Lawn chairs go out, food trucks pull in, and by 7 p.m. the music is already starting.
The Berkeley Heights Recreation Department has brought back its free Summer Concert Series for 2025, with five Wednesday-evening performances running from June 25 through July 30. Union County Life is covering the series throughout the season.
Admission is free and no registration is required. Residents and visitors can show up, find a spot, and stay for the full set.
The five-show lineup rotates between two locations. Veterans Memorial Park, at 205 Plainfield Avenue, hosts the first three concerts of the season. The Grove at Connell Park, 200 Connell Drive, takes over for the final two.

July 2 — Lost in Place at Veterans Memorial Park
July 9 — Austin City Nights at Veterans Memorial Park
July 23 — Audio Riot at The Grove at Connell Park

Each show runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Recreation Department brings food trucks, a bounce house, airbrush tattoos, a balloon artist, and free water to every event. Veterans Memorial Park has a playground on-site. Both venues welcome dogs, though the township notes the crowd size may not suit every animal.
