Scotch Plains Unveils 2026 Summer Concert Series Lineup
UCL Community Desk · Union County Life
Some summer evenings in Scotch Plains have a way of turning into something you didn't plan — and the ones at Alan M. Augustine Village Green tend to be exactly that.
The Township's Department of Parks and Recreation has announced the 2026 Summer Concert Series, bringing two free outdoor nights of live music to 430 Park Ave. this July. Union County Life is sharing the details so Scotch Plains neighbors can get it on the calendar now.
Both shows start at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and settle in.
The LineupThe series opens on Thursday, July 9, with Soul Seduction taking the stage for a night of R&B favorites. If rain moves in, the makeup date is July 16.
The second concert lands on Thursday, July 23, when Alden Street performs hits from the 1960s and 1970s. That evening also serves as Volunteer Appreciation Night — a chance for the community to recognize the people who show up quietly and keep Scotch Plains running. The rain date, if needed, is July 30.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
Who Makes It HappenThe 2026 Summer Concert Series is supported by Suplee, Clooney & Company, Caffrey Tree & Landscape, and Pascack Data Services, Inc.
