Summer Concerts Come to Union Township in July
Maria Torres · Union County Life
Union Township is bringing live music outdoors this summer, with free concerts at Rabkin Park drawing neighbors together for an evening of entertainment. Union County Life is covering the final two performances in the 2026 Summer Concert Series, which kicked off last July 4 at Biertuempfel Park.
On July 23, Never Say Goodbye takes the stage with a full-throttle Bon Jovi tribute, delivering hits like "Livin' on a Prayer" and "You Give Love a Bad Name."
A week later, on July 30, Big Hixx brings country music to the park with covers of Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, and Johnny Cash—the kind of lineup that gets people on their feet.
Both concerts run from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and are completely free. Residents are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and settle in for the evening. Food trucks will be on-site, so you can grab dinner while the music plays. If rain threatens, the concerts move indoors to Union High School.
Whether you're a Bon Jovi fan, a country music lover, or simply looking for something to do with friends and family on a summer evening, these concerts offer a straightforward way to spend time together outdoors. It's the kind of thing that neighborhood summers are made of.
