The Springfield Recreation Department has announced its September 2026 calendar for the 55+ community, offering a variety of activities and services.

Games and Recreation

The calendar includes games such as bingo, poker, dominos, rummikub, and puzzles. A computer lab is also available. Indoor open-play pickleball is offered with free annual registration required.

The Springfield Community Pool remains open through Labor Day. Free weekday in-Springfield bus service is available from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with exceptions for bus maintenance, special bus trips, and Labor Day. The service transports residents to Chisholm, the Library, supermarkets, pharmacies, salons, fitness clubs, physical therapy, Post Office, stores, restaurants, doctors, and the Pool.
