Storm-Related Branch Pickup Begins Wednesday

Following this weekend's storm, the Clark Department of Public Works will conduct a Township-wide pickup of storm-related branches today, Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Residents who have broken or fallen branches on their property are asked to place them at the curb before this morning for collection.

PLACEMENT GUIDELINES

Residents should follow these guidelines when placing branches at the curb:

• Place branches neatly at the curb and out of the roadway

• Do not block sidewalks, storm drains, or fire hydrants

• Do not place branches in bags or containers

• Keep branches separate from grass, garbage, and other debris

Union County Life tracks municipal service announcements across all 21 Union County municipalities. Today's branch pickup is part of the Township's storm recovery efforts.

As an additional reminder, September is the final month for Township branch pickup in 2026. After today's collection is completed, branch pickup will not resume until spring 2027. Until that time, residents must keep branches on their property or make arrangements for private disposal. Branches should not be placed at the curb after today's final collection.
