Summit Road Work at Five Locations, Aug. 31–Sept. 4

Utility and electrical work will take place at five locations in Summit from Monday, Sept. 1, through Friday, Sept. 4, 2026. Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra travel time in affected areas.

Union County Life is tracking the following schedule:

Tiffany Electric will work at Beechwood Road at Springfield Avenue from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

PSE&G has scheduled work at four additional locations, each from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

• Oak Knoll Road

• Broad Street at Maple Street

• Mountain Avenue at Primrose Place

• Blackburn Road near Oak Knoll Road

Road closures and detours may be implemented at any affected area. The schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change. Residents should check back for updates if conditions shift.
