New Providence GearGive Sports Equipment Drop Off at DPW Recycling Center

New Providence residents can donate gently used sports equipment through GearGive, a company the borough has contracted to collect and recycle it. Union County Life is passing along the details from the borough’s civic alert.

Gear should be in good condition. Residents can drop it off at the DPW Recycling Center on the first and third Saturday of each month, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The next collection day is Saturday, Oct. 17.

The borough says the collection reduces waste in the landfill and gives residents a local place to drop off their old gear.
