Springfield Winter Conditioning Registration Open for Kids in Grades K Through 9

The Springfield Recreation Department is bringing back Winter Conditioning, a fitness program for children in kindergarten through ninth grade. Union County Life is sharing the registration details. The program is open to children who live in Springfield or attend a Springfield school. Space is limited.

The program is coached by Megan Rezvani of High Rez Fitness. The 10 class season includes indoor running, physical fitness and strength training, stretching, and injury prevention techniques.

Classes meet on Tuesdays, starting Dec. 1, 2026, and running through Feb. 16, 2027. There is no class on Dec. 29, 2026. Kindergarten through third grade classes run from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. Fourth through ninth grade classes run from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Both are held at the Chisholm Community Center in the Lee Adler Memorial Gymnasium.

The fee is $115 per child for kindergarten through third grade and $200 per child for fourth through ninth grade. The fee includes professional coaching instruction and an apparel item. Sneakers are not included.

Registration is online only through Community Pass at register.communitypass.net/springfield. The site accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards.

Refunds are not available after Friday, Nov. 13, 2026. Before that date, refunds are subject to a $15 administrative fee under township ordinance. The program does not prorate fees for registrations made after the program begins or for missed classes.
