Summit PSE&G Road Work at Broad Street and Watchung Place
Robert Hargrove · Union County Life
According to TAPinto's report.
According to the City of Summit's announcement.
Drivers should plan around PSE&G road work at two intersections this week.
PSE&G crews are working at Broad Street and Summit Avenue, and at Watchung Place and Larned Road, in Summit. Work runs from 8 a.m. to about 4 p.m. each day. It began Monday, Oct. 26 and is scheduled through Friday, Oct. 30.
The City of Summit listed both jobs as PSE&G work on its road work notice, which the city posts under its Construction and Engineering category.
The city says road closures and detours may be in effect in these areas. It asks drivers to leave extra time when driving in or near them.
The schedule depends on the weather and may change. The city says every effort will be made to keep any inconvenience to residents to a minimum.
Residents can get these road work notices each week by signing up on the city's Notify Me page and choosing the Construction and Engineering category.
The city notice does not say what kind of work PSE&G is doing. It also does not say which lanes or directions are affected, whether either intersection will fully close, which detour routes to use, or whether parking is restricted. Questions go to the Summit Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau at 908-273-0051.
As listed, Friday, Oct. 30 is the last scheduled day of work at both intersections.
